Check the kit label
Identify whether you have a Smart, Intelligent or other Rexing hardwire kit. Use its own wiring instructions and supported camera list.
Check the fuse information
Consult your vehicle documentation and the kit instructions for the appropriate fuse adapter and connection points. If you are unsure, use a qualified installer.
Installation details vary. Do not assume a wire color, fuse position or parking setting shown for one kit applies to every Rexing camera. Keep cables clear of airbag deployment areas and vehicle controls.

confirm the basics.
Check operation with your camera's manual and the exact kit instructions beside you.
- Check normal recording
Confirm the camera receives power and records normally with the vehicle on. Check each connected camera view.
- Set the correct parking mode
Use the setting specified for your camera and kit. Some motion-sensing kits require the camera or app Parking Mode setting to stay OFF.
- Check the parked behavior
Follow your kit's procedure to verify the transition after the vehicle is turned off. Battery-protection cutoffs can interrupt power; consult the kit instructions before treating this as a camera fault.
- Inspect cable routing
Ensure the installation does not interfere with your view, controls or airbags. Have a qualified installer inspect any uncertain connections.

A few things worth checking.
Should Parking Mode always be switched on?
No. The required setting depends on the camera and hardwire kit. For example, the C2 and C3 manuals distinguish smart-kit impact detection from intelligent-kit motion detection, with Parking Mode OFF for the motion-sensing configuration. Always follow your own model's guide.
Does this page confirm which kit fits my camera?
This page is an installation guide, not a universal compatibility list. Check the kit's supported models, connector and instructions. If anything is unclear, send Rexing support the camera model and a photo of the hardwire kit label.
