01 / QUICK START

Start with the right connections.

Secure the camera

Mount close to the rear-view mirror without blocking your view. Adjust the rotating lenses to frame the front, cabin and rear views. Check all views while parked before the first drive.

Connect power and GPS

Use the supplied car power cable, which integrates the GPS logger. GPS status changes from blue to green when a signal is found. Use compatible GPS playback software to review location and speed.

Insert a compatible card

Use a Class 10 / UHS-I or higher microSD card up to 256GB. Turn the camera off before inserting or removing it. Back up important recordings before formatting.

Open settings with recording stopped. Press Record to stop recording, then MENU once for Video Settings or twice for General Settings. Navigate with Up / Down and confirm with OK. Set the date and time before the first drive.
02 / APP & PLAYBACK

Connect nearby. Keep the footage.

Turn on camera Wi-Fi

Hold OK for about three seconds to enable Wi-Fi. Join the SSID shown on the camera using its displayed password. The guide lists a default password of 12345678.

Open Rexing Connect

After joining the camera’s Wi-Fi, open Rexing Connect and choose Connect. Use the app to review or download clips and select Record/Stop before changing settings.

Format the memory card

Back up clips, press Record to stop recording and press MENU twice. Use Up / Down to choose Format, then OK to confirm. Formatting deletes every file on the card.

Playback on the camera

Stop recording, then hold MENU/Mode to enter Playback. Choose a clip with Up / Down and press OK to play or pause. Up rewinds; Down fast-forwards.

Back up with a card reader

Power off before removing the card. Use an SD adapter or compatible reader to copy important clips to your computer.

03 / PARKING MONITOR

Choose the correct power kit.

Vibration or time-lapse

The S3 guide specifies the Smart Hardwire Kit, ASIN B07RN24B7V, sold separately. With correct wiring, the camera switches to parking when the engine stops and returns to normal recording when it starts.

Motion detection

The Intelligent Hardwire Kit, ASIN B0973MBCT8, is a separate option. For this kit, keep Parking Mode off on the camera; the kit sensor supplies power when motion is detected.

Protect the vehicle battery

Follow the exact kit’s installation and voltage-protection instructions. Battery protection can stop camera power, so parking recording ends when the kit cuts power.

Use the appropriate settings. The guide recommends time-lapse for parking. When parking monitoring is not in use, set Gravity Sensing to Low to reduce unnecessary file locks.
04 / TROUBLESHOOTING

A clearer next step.

The screen went dark. Did recording stop?

Screen Saver can turn the display off after 10 seconds, 30 seconds or one minute. Press Power to toggle the screen. Check the recording indicator to confirm recording.

Why will parking monitoring not start?

Check the exact kit, wiring and selected parking method. Smart and Intelligent kits use different settings. The camera cannot record after the kit stops providing power.

Why is the card full of locked clips?

Loop recording does not erase protected files. Back up needed clips before deleting or formatting them. Review G-sensor sensitivity if ordinary driving repeatedly locks recordings.

Keep the right guide

Share your S3 label, power-kit details and a photo of the display if an instruction or menu differs from your device.
