01 / QUICK START

Start with the right connections.

Secure the camera

Mount close to the rear-view mirror without blocking your view. Follow the guide’s rear-camera installation diagram and keep wiring clear of airbags and moving parts.

Connect power and GPS

Use the supplied power accessories. For GPS, connect the included logger to the GPS socket and orient its receiver face outward, with the adhesive side downward.

Use the built-in storage

S1 Pro uses built-in recording storage; the manual says it does not support memory expansion. Back up important footage before formatting or changing storage settings.

Open settings with recording stopped. Use Record/Up to pause recording, then MENU → Settings. Navigate with Up / Down and confirm with OK. Set the date and time before the first drive.
02 / APP & PLAYBACK

Connect nearby. Keep the footage.

Turn on camera Wi-Fi

Select Wi-Fi ON/OFF on the main menu. Join the camera network shown on its display; the guide uses E89_*** with a default password of 12345678. Use your own displayed details.

Open Rexing Connect

After joining the camera’s Wi-Fi, open Rexing Connect and choose Connect. Use the app to review or download clips and select Record/Stop before changing settings.

Format recording storage

First download the clips you need. In the connected app, stop recording, open Settings and choose Format the memory card. Formatting clears stored recordings.

Playback on the camera

Open Playback from the main menu. Use Up / Down to browse files, then OK to play or pause. Keep a separate copy of important events.

Transfer through USB

Connect the computer cable. Use Up / Down to select Mass Storage in the pop-up and OK to confirm. Copy recordings from the device to your computer.

03 / PARKING MONITOR

Power protection comes first.

Use the Smart Hardwire Kit

The S1 Pro manual requires the included Smart Hardwire Kit to activate parking monitoring. A USB cable cannot provide this function. Follow the kit’s wiring instructions.

Choose the parking option

With the smart connection detected, open Parking on the main menu. The guide describes time-lapse and Super Night Scene monitoring, plus impact recording lasting one minute. Duration options are 12, 24 or 48 hours.

Set Power Volt protection

The Power Volt menu offers a cutoff from 11.8V to 12.5V. If detected vehicle-battery voltage falls below the selected threshold, the device shuts off to protect the battery.

Parking recording stops at the voltage cutoff. Repeated activity or a low vehicle battery can trigger protection before the selected monitoring duration ends. Do not bypass the cutoff. The guide also says to keep Parking Monitor disabled during ordinary driving.
04 / TROUBLESHOOTING

A clearer next step.

The screen went dark. Did recording stop?

Screen Backlight settings can switch the display off after 1, 3 or 5 minutes while recording continues. Press Power briefly to toggle the backlight.

Why will parking monitoring not start?

Check that the correct Smart Hardwire Kit is connected and detected, review Parking settings and check the Power Volt cutoff. USB power does not activate this parking feature.

Where can I find the software version?

Open Settings → Version. Include it when contacting support. S1 and S1 Pro have different controls and storage; use the S1 Pro guide linked here.

Keep the right guide

Share your S1 Pro label, power-kit details and a photo of the display if an instruction or menu differs from your device.
