Connect the correct ports.
Power off first
Keep the device powered off while installing the power cable and camera. Align connectors, then insert firmly without forcing them.
Separate power and video
Connect the supplied charger to the monitor’s Type-C power port. Connect the camera video cable to the AV camera port. These ports perform different jobs.
Use the supplied charger
The monitor is rated 5V; the supplied charger accepts 12–24V vehicle input. Do not apply vehicle voltage directly to the monitor or use ordinary BC500 wiring instructions.
Clamp, frame and check.
Attach the camera clamp
Raise the headrest, open the clamp, attach it to the poles and secure it as shown in the manual. Confirm the camera is held firmly.
Place the monitor
Secure the suction mount without obstructing the road, vehicle controls or airbags. Keep cables clear of seat and belt movement.
Adjust while parked
Use + / − for zoom and M to toggle the screen. The camera uses automatic IR night vision; the guide does not describe a manual IR brightness setting.
Check screen, power and video.
The screen is dark
Press M to check whether the screen was switched off. Then check the vehicle socket, supplied charger and Type-C connection.
No camera image
Turn power off and inspect the AV camera connector and video cable. Check for an incomplete fit, damaged cable or pinched wiring.
View is too close or misplaced
Use − to zoom out and adjust the camera position. This guide covers live monitoring; it does not specify microSD recording, Wi-Fi pairing or a parking mode.
