Prepare storage
Use a Class 10 microSD card up to 32GB. Back up important files before formatting in the device.

Make a test file
Set the date and time, capture a short sample, then play it back before relying on the device for important recordings.
Infrared light safety
Do not look directly into the infrared light or point it at flammable objects at close range. Read the complete safety instructions before operating the illuminator.

Learn the controls with the device stationary. Keep the lens clean and check the image before starting a recording.
Adjust the focus
Adjust the eyepiece until screen icons are clear, then adjust the objective lens until the viewed scene is sharp.
Choose your mode
MODE cycles between Photo, Video and Playback. In Video mode, OK starts and stops recording.
Low-light viewing
Use D/N for black-and-white infrared viewing. The separate illuminator has three brightness levels.

- Join device Wi-FiThe guide identifies Digital Aim, network NV_xxxxxxxxxxxx and initial password 123456789. Confirm the current app with support if it is unavailable.
- Copy to a computerUse a card reader or the supplied USB cable. Files are in DCIM; a USB connection displays MSDC.
- Keep an original copyOpen your copied files to verify the transfer before deleting or formatting. Store important originals separately from edited versions.

Share your model label, device version and the conditions in which the issue occurs.
The view looks blurry.
Check lens cleanliness and confirm both focus adjustments. Describe whether the screen icons, the scene, or both look blurred. Send support a sample image and the approximate viewing distance.
The device will not turn on.
Check the battery label, polarity and charge level. Inspect contacts without forcing or modifying them. If the issue persists, send support photos of the battery and device labels.
Why did video recording stop?
Check free storage and battery charge. Copy existing footage first and verify it opens. Note any onscreen message and whether the problem repeats with a suitable card.
I cannot connect the mobile app.
Confirm that the phone is connected to the device network and that you are using the app specified for NVS1. Share your phone model, app name and connection error with support.
