Pair. Project. Play.

Bluetooth first

Pair with CAR-KIT-XXXX to begin.

Wi-Fi next

The receiver connects to Wi-Fi automatically.

One phone mode

CarPlay and Android Auto cannot be used together.

01 / SETUP

Prepare the receiver.

Mount & power

Use the supplied mount/holder and power cable. Position the display without blocking your view or vehicle controls. Adjust settings while parked.

Rear-camera connection

Connect the matching backup camera to the rear-camera port. The guide says the red wire is optional for manual viewing; connecting it to the reverse-light circuit enables automatic reverse display. Have a qualified installer verify wiring.

Manual camera view

Tap the rear-camera button to view the backup camera. Confirm the image and orientation while parked before relying on it.

02 / PHONE CONNECTION

Start with Bluetooth.

Apple CarPlay

Enable phone Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, tap CarPlay on W1, pair CAR-KIT-XXXX and accept Use CarPlay on the iPhone. Contacts/favorites synchronization is optional; CarPlay works without it.

Android Auto

Use a phone that supports wireless Android Auto. Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, select Android Auto on W1 and pair CAR-KIT-XXXX. Allow the Wi-Fi connection to occur automatically rather than manually selecting another network.

Reconnect or disconnect

The receiver remembers the last phone. Turning off phone Wi-Fi or switching networks disconnects projection; forgetting the Bluetooth device requires pairing again. Older guide screenshots and phone menus may differ from current versions.

03 / AUDIO & HELP

Hear it through the vehicle.

FM audio

Enable W1 FM transmission and choose an unused frequency. Tune the vehicle radio to the same frequency; change both together if there is interference. The guide lists 91.0 MHz as the default.

AUX audio

The receiver supports 3.5mm AUX output. Connect the supplied cable to a compatible vehicle AUX input and select that input on the vehicle audio system.

Connection checks

If projection does not appear, confirm the correct phone mode, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, then check the phone’s CarPlay/Android Auto permissions and wireless support. Send Support your phone model and OS version. W1 is a media receiver; do not apply dash-cam memory-card or parking-recording instructions.
