V5C / AT A GLANCE

Know your buttons.

OK

Start or stop recording; confirm menu selections.

MENU × 2

Open System Settings while recording is stopped.

Hold OK

Enter or exit Wi-Fi mode.

01 / QUICK START

Get ready to record.

Mount & power

Allow at least 20 minutes after applying the windshield mount before attaching the camera. Power it with the supplied Mini-USB car charger and keep cables clear of airbags.

Memory card

Use Class 10/UHS-I or faster microSD, up to 256GB. Insert or remove the card only with the camera off. A high-endurance card is recommended for repeated recording.

Format

Back up files first. Stop recording with OK → MENU twice → UP/DOWN to Format → OK. Formatting erases all files.

02 / APP & PLAYBACK

Save a copy beyond the camera.

Wi-Fi

Hold OK to enable Wi-Fi. Join the camera network shown on the screen; the guide lists default password 12345678. Open Rexing Connect and tap Connect. Hold OK to exit.

Camera playback

Stop recording and hold MENU to change to Playback. Select a file with UP/DOWN; OK plays or pauses.

Computer transfer

Use a card reader or connect by USB and select Mass Storage with OK. Videos are in CARDV/MOVIE. Copy important files before changing cards or formatting.

03 / ACCESSORIES & POWER

Use the guide for your version.

Camera expansion

V5C has a cabin-facing camera on the main unit. Its matching rear camera is optional and sold separately. Connect it to the rear-camera port and verify saved rear footage before driving.

Parking monitor

The guide requires a compatible Smart Hardwire Kit for parking monitor. Confirm the kit and firmware before enabling it; do not transfer Intelligent Kit settings from a different model.

Power & GPS

The guide describes GPS signal search when powered. The speed indication changes from red to green after a fix; MENU twice opens GPS Speed Unit. Use sustained vehicle power, and check an installed kit’s battery cutoff if parking recordings stop.
