03 / POWER & RECORDING

Keep your setup consistent.

Power connection

Use the supplied car charger from the vehicle’s 12V outlet to the camera’s Mini-USB port. The camera starts recording when it receives power.

Screen & recording

The red flashing indicator shows recording; a solid red indicator shows power or charging. Check the recording indicator rather than relying on whether the screen is lit.

Parking setup

Confirm a hardwire kit’s connector and parking behavior with Support before installation. The linked quick-start guide does not specify smart-kit detection settings.

04 / TROUBLESHOOTING

Help starts with the exact version.

Keep these details ready. Send Support a label photo, firmware version, power-kit model and a description of the issue. The guide marks the separate rear-camera port unsupported; V3 Basic records road and cabin views from the main unit.
