Enable camera Wi-Fi with a three-second hold.
Prepare for the first drive.
Mount behind the mirror
Clean and dry the windshield. Apply the electrostatic sticker behind the mirror and the adhesive mount in the guide’s orientation. Wait at least 20 minutes before mounting the camera. Align the front camera’s red guide line with the hood edge.
Insert the memory card
The August 2023 V2 Pro AI guide supports Class 10 / UHS-I or faster microSD up to 512GB. Power off before inserting or removing the card.
Format in the camera
Connect the supplied power cable, press OK to stop recording, then MENU twice for Setup Settings. Use DOWN to select Format and OK to confirm. Formatting erases files; back up first.
Connect nearby. Save a copy.
Enable camera Wi-Fi
Hold OK to enable Wi-Fi. Join the SSID shown on the camera using the on-screen password, then connect through Rexing Connect. The controls page lists a three-second hold.
Open Rexing Connect
Stay connected to the camera network, open Rexing Connect and tap Connect. The camera Wi-Fi is a local connection and may show no internet.
Review and disconnect
Use the app to view or download recordings. Hold OK to access or turn off Wi-Fi.
Playback on the camera
Stop recording with OK, then hold MENU for three seconds to switch between Recording and Playback. Use UP/DOWN and OK to select and review a file.
Computer transfer
Power off, remove the card and use a card reader to copy recordings. Preserve important footage in separate storage.

Match the power kit to the mode.
Vibration detection
Use the compatible Smart Hardwire Kit, sold separately. Significant movement can trigger event recording. High Gravity Sensing is recommended for parking events.
Motion detection
Use the compatible Rexing Intelligent Hardwire Kit, sold separately. It powers the camera when motion is detected. Keep the camera’s Parking Mode off for this setup.
Low-voltage protection
When the exact kit’s battery protection cuts power, the camera cannot record parking events. Check its documented settings and restore adequate power according to the kit instructions.

Settings will not open
Press OK to stop recording first. MENU once opens the current mode’s settings; MENU twice opens System Settings.
The card fills with locked files
Back up needed clips, review Gravity Sensing sensitivity and format the card in the camera when appropriate. Locked clips are not overwritten by normal loop recording.
The phone joins Wi-Fi but the app fails
Stay on the network displayed by the V2 Pro AI, open Rexing Connect and tap Connect. Do not switch to your home Wi-Fi during the connection.
How do I connect the rear camera?
With power off, connect the supplied rear camera to the front unit with the rear cable. Mount it as shown in the guide and check the rear picture and saved footage before driving.
