V1LG.
Ready for
the road.
Set up both cameras, use the correct 12V power connector and review V1LG recordings with GPS data.
Download V1LG manual ↗Stop. Set. Confirm.
Use these camera buttons while parked.
OK
Start or stop recording.
MENU × 2
Open System Settings.
MODE
Switch recording, photo and playback modes.
Connect both cameras before the first drive.
Mount front and rear
Clean the windshield and secure the front mount. Wait at least 20 minutes before attaching the camera. Mount the rear camera on the rear windshield and connect it to the main unit with the rear cable. Keep cables clear of airbags and your view.
Use the correct power port
Use the supplied Rexing charger with the camera’s dedicated 12V charging port. Press the charger button and check its power LED. The V1LG cannot charge through its Mini-USB port.
Prepare the memory card
Power off to insert Class 10 or faster microSD up to 256GB. Back up files. Press OK to stop recording, MENU twice, DOWN to Format and OK. Select YES with UP and confirm with OK. Formatting erases the card.
Review the video. Preserve the evidence.
Playback on the camera
Press OK to stop recording, then MODE twice to enter Playback. Browse with UP/DOWN, press OK to play or pause and MODE to stop. UP fast-forwards; DOWN rewinds.
Keep locked clips
Press the Emergency button while recording to lock the current clip. Locked files are in CARDV / MOVIE / RO and are not overwritten by normal loop recording. Copy important clips to separate storage.
Read the memory card
Power off before removing the card. Use a card reader to copy MOV files to a computer. This manual does not document camera Wi-Fi or Rexing Connect pairing.
Built-in GPS
V1LG records route and speed data with its internal GPS Logger. The manual identifies gray as acquiring a signal and blue as GPS ready.
Time and speed units
MENU twice opens System Settings. Use GPS to select speed units, Update time of GPS for your time zone and DST for daylight saving. Check the date and time on a test recording.
V1LG GPS Player
Official legacy player download ↗
The manual lists Windows 7/8; current OS compatibility is not confirmed. Ask Rexing before installing on a newer system.
Check the connection, then the recording.
Rear-camera view
The view button switches front, rear and picture-in-picture displays. The rear camera’s switch can flip its display horizontally. Check a saved rear clip after adjusting the view.
Parked recording power
The internal battery is mainly for saving files at power loss. Parked recording requires an appropriate external supply and a kit confirmed for the V1LG’s dedicated 12V charging port.
Automatic on/off
The camera follows power from the charger. An always-on vehicle socket keeps it powered after the engine stops. If a compatible power kit cuts power to protect the battery, the camera cannot continue recording.
A clearer next step.
MENU does not respond
Press OK to stop recording first. MENU once opens video settings; twice opens System Settings.
The card fills with locked files
Review G-sensor sensitivity; the manual recommends Low for normal driving. Back up needed recordings before deleting files or formatting.
The camera stays on after the engine stops
Your vehicle socket may supply constant power. Automatic on/off requires the charger supply to switch with the vehicle.
There is no rear-camera picture
With power off, check the rear connection at the main unit and cable. Then power on, switch the view and inspect a saved clip. Send Rexing the camera and cable labels if it still fails.
Identify the complete setup
Send V1LG model/firmware, memory-card information, photos of the 12V connector and rear cable, and the exact symptom.
