01 / QUICK START

Ready for the first drive.

Secure the windshield mount

Apply the 3M tape to the mount and orient it as shown in the guide. Press firmly onto a clean windshield and wait at least 20 minutes before fitting the camera.

Connect the rear camera

Use the supplied rear-camera cable and follow the guide’s mounting diagram. Route wiring clear of airbags, controls and moving parts.

Connect vehicle power

Connect the supplied car charger to a 12V DC accessory outlet and the camera’s Mini USB power port. Recording begins automatically when power arrives. Hold Power to turn it on manually.

02 / MEMORY CARD

Format before the first recording.

Choose a compatible card

The S1 guide specifies Class 10 / UHS-I or higher microSD cards up to 256GB. Turn the camera off before inserting or removing the card.

Stop recording first

Back up important recordings. Turn the camera on and press the Left Navigation / Record button to stop recording. Press MENU twice for System Settings.

Confirm formatting

Use Left and Right to find the memory-card Format setting. Press OK, then confirm Yes. Formatting deletes all contents on the card.

Changing other settings? Stop recording with Left Navigation first. Press MENU once for the current mode’s settings, or twice for System Settings. Hold MENU to exit settings.
03 / PLAYBACK

Review on camera or computer.

On the S1

Stop recording, then hold MENU to switch to Playback Mode. Choose a clip with Left / Right and press OK to play or pause. Left rewinds; Right fast-forwards. Hold OK to exit the current mode.

With a card reader

Turn the camera off before removing the card. Use a compatible reader or SD adapter to access recordings on a computer and copy important clips separately.

Through USB

Connect the camera to the computer with the USB cable. Select MSDC using OK. Open the camera’s drive to access recordings; the guide places locked clips in the Event folder.

04 / TROUBLESHOOTING

A clearer next step.

Why can I not open the settings?

Recording must be stopped first. On S1, use Left Navigation / Record; then press MENU. The button layout differs from other Rexing models.

The new memory card is not recording

Check its type and capacity, insert it with power off and format it in the S1 after backing up any files. If the error persists, send support the card brand, capacity and on-screen message.

Which guide should I use?

Use the S1 guide linked here. S1 Pro is a separate model. Check the label on your camera before following another model’s instructions or installing firmware.

Help us identify the setup

For accessory or parking-monitor questions, share your exact S1 model and existing power kit with Rexing support so the installation can be confirmed.
