Set up. Focus. Settle in.
Start with the projector's own menu before troubleshooting an external device.
Place & power
Place the projector on a stable surface facing your screen and keep its air outlets clear. Connect the correct power supply. Connect the adapter to DC-IN. When the indicator is red, press the Power button on the rear panel to turn it on.
Bring text into focus
Use the F+ / F− buttons on the remote. Adjust while looking at menu text so you can tell when the picture becomes sharp.
Adjust the picture
Align the projector with the screen. In Settings → Projector setting, choose Projection Direct for orientation, and use Auto Correct, Manual Correct or Quadrangular Correction as needed. Recheck focus after changing the projector's position.
One screen.
A few ways to connect.
Match the projector's input or screen-sharing mode to the device you want to display.
iPhone & iPad
The PRD615 guide describes EShare for iPhone. Connect both devices to the same network, open EShare on your phone, select the matching projector, then choose Mirroring. Refer to the iOS Cast section for the full setup.
Android phones
Connect your phone and projector to the same network. Open EShareServer on the projector and follow the displayed EShare setup instructions. In EShare on the phone, select the projector from the device list and tap Mirroring.
USB media
Insert a USB flash drive with compatible media. Under Apps, open MediaPlayer and choose the playback category. Check the manual's supported-format table if a file does not play.
HDMI devices
Connect a compatible source to the HDMI port. Under Apps, select HDMI, or press Source on the remote and choose HDMI. Confirm the source is powered on and sending a picture. If the menu works but the source does not, recheck the cable and input.
Start with a simple test.
Use the projector menu or a known-working HDMI source to check picture and sound first. Wireless mirroring support can depend on the phone, software and content provider.
Find your next step.
Tell support which connection you use, what appears on screen and your system version.
The image is blurry.
Display the projector menu and use the remote's F+ / F− focus buttons. Check the projector's alignment and screen surface. If only one external source looks blurry, check that source and its cable after confirming the menu is sharp.
My phone cannot find the projector.
Verify the phone and projector are on the same network and EShareServer is open on the projector. Refresh the device list in EShare on your phone, select the matching projector and choose Mirroring. Follow the Android or iOS section for your device.
HDMI shows no picture.
Check the HDMI cable, select HDMI through Apps or the remote's Source button, and confirm the connected device is awake. Try a known-working HDMI cable or source to isolate the connection.
There is a picture but no sound.
Check mute and volume on both the projector and source. Review the projector's Image & Sound settings. If using Bluetooth audio, confirm the speaker is paired, powered on and selected; disconnect it to test the projector's own sound.
How do I connect Bluetooth audio?
In Settings, select Network → Bluetooth. Choose the corresponding Bluetooth device and follow the connection prompts in the guide. Use HDMI or EShare for video.
The picture is tilted or upside down.
Check placement first. In Projector setting, use Projection Direct to match the installation and the correction settings to adjust the picture. The manual describes Quadrangular Correction for its four corners. If Auto Correct is inaccurate, consult the manual's Gyroscope Level Correction instructions.
Should I reset or update the projector?
Record your system version and current settings first. Ask support for the appropriate next step if normal setup checks do not help. Use the manual's Settings → Update instructions and maintain a reliable network and power connection during an update.
