Complete setup while parked. Start with an unused local FM frequency.
Attach the supplied air-vent bracket to the back of the display and tighten its threaded collar. Secure it to the vent grille, adjust the angle, then connect the power adapter to a powered vehicle socket.
Choose an empty channel on the car radio. Hold the FMT2 control knob for about 2 seconds until the frequency flashes, then rotate it to match. Press again or wait 3 seconds to exit.
Open Bluetooth settings and select FMT2. Enter 0000 only if asked for a PIN. The Bluetooth indicator stays on once connected. Start music on your phone.
For example, radio 88.8 MHz = FMT2 88.8 MHz. This is an example, not a recommended station for every location. Select a frequency without a local broadcast. FMT2 supports 87.5–108.0 MHz.
Use one audio source at a time. FMT2 recognizes the last connected source for playback.
Pair with FMT2, open your music app and start playback. Audio is transmitted to the matching FM channel on your car radio. FMT2 reconnects to the last paired device.
Phone → Bluetooth → FMT2 → RadioInsert a microSD card up to 64GB containing MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC or APE music files. Playback starts automatically. Incoming calls interrupt the music.
microSD · Up to 64GB · Music playbackThe knob changes volume during music playback and frequency when FM tuning mode is active.
Face the microphone toward the driver. During a call, press the noise-canceling button to toggle road-noise reduction. A tone confirms activation.
Rotate left to lower music volume or right to raise it. In FM tuning mode, rotation changes the frequency.
Press to play or pause music, answer an incoming call, or end a call. Hold for about 2 seconds during an incoming call to reject it; during an active call, hold to switch private-call mode.
Press the previous or next button to change tracks. Hold the previous button for about 2 seconds to cycle list repeat, single-track repeat and random playback.
Press the bass button to change the bass effect. Hold it for about 2 seconds to turn off the ambient light. Hold the next-track button to cycle ambient-light colors.
Fast charging requires a compatible device and cable.
Up to 18W for compatible Quick Charge devices. The manual lists 3.6–6.5V / 3A, 6.5–9V / 2A and 9–12V / 1.5A profiles.
Up to 20W for compatible USB Power Delivery devices. Output profiles: 5V / 3A, 9V / 2.22A and 12V / 1.67A.
Check that the vehicle socket is powered and the adapter is seated securely. The kit includes a replacement 4A fuse. Disconnect the adapter before handling it and follow the illustrated fuse-replacement instructions on printed page 9 of the manual.
Start with the FM frequency, active audio source and phone connection.
Choose another unused FM frequency and set the car radio and FMT2 to the same number. Reduce the car-stereo volume and increase the phone volume to improve the balance. If needed, unplug and reconnect the transmitter while parked.
Confirm the radio and transmitter frequencies match, start playback on the phone, and check both volume settings. Use only one audio source at a time; remove the microSD card when troubleshooting Bluetooth playback.
Choose FMT2 in your phone’s Bluetooth settings. If a PIN is requested, enter 0000. The transmitter reconnects to the last connected device, so check whether another phone is already connected.
FMT2 supports microSD cards up to 64GB for music playback. Supported formats are MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC and APE. This is music storage, not dash-cam video recording. The manual does not specify a card filesystem.
FMT2 returns to the previous playback mode. Music on a microSD card can play automatically; Bluetooth music may need to be started again on your phone.
Point the microphone toward the driver. During a call, press the noise-canceling button to enable road-noise reduction; a tone confirms the change. Press again to turn it off. Check phone call volume and the selected audio route if the other person still cannot hear you.
Your phone and cable must support the charging protocol of the selected port. Use the orange USB port for QC3.0 or the USB-C port for PD3.0. The listed maximum power is a port capability, not a guarantee for every device.
Yes. The manual states that charging remains available when the transmitter is switched off, as long as the vehicle socket still supplies power.
