A1 / AT A GLANCE

Simple controls. Clear feedback.

POWER

Hold to turn the camera on or off. A short press starts or stops recording.

WI-FI

Press to enable Wi-Fi. Blue flashing means waiting to connect; steady blue means connected.

WHITE LIGHT

Slow flashing indicates recording. A steady white light indicates standby.

01 / SETUP

Charge and prepare the card.

Charge before use

Connect the Micro-USB cable to a suitable charger or computer. The red charging light is on during charging and goes off when charging is complete.

Insert the card while powered off

Use a Class 10 or faster microSD card up to 256GB. Open the card-slot cover, insert the card in the marked direction and close the cover securely.

Format carefully

Back up files before formatting. The manual describes five consecutive presses of Power to format, with vibration feedback. You can also use the Format setting in Rexing Connect; formatting erases recordings.

02 / PHONE & REMOTE

Connect, review and protect a clip.

Pair with Rexing Connect

Enable Wi-Fi and join REXING_xxxxxxxxxxxx on your phone. The guide’s default password is 12345678; use your changed password if applicable. Open Rexing Connect for live view and playback.

Camera settings

Use the app’s settings icon to adjust resolution, loop recording, audio, date stamp and G-sensor sensitivity. Single-channel recording supports 1440p at 30fps; dual-channel mode records 1080p at 30fps.

Use the remote

The remote pairs automatically after camera startup. Its Lock button protects the current recording and its Camera button takes a photo. The guide specifies one CR2032 battery for the remote.

03 / TROUBLESHOOTING

Read the lights before retrying.

Wi-Fi disappears

The guide says Wi-Fi switches off if no phone connects within one minute. Press the Wi-Fi key again to enable it. Holding that key for five seconds disables automatic Wi-Fi activation at the next startup.

Camera turns off while stationary

Power Saving Mode can shut the camera down after five minutes without motion, even during recording. Check the battery as well: low battery also causes automatic shutdown.

Recording or connection problems

Test a supported card and recharge the camera. Share the LED pattern, any vibration feedback and your phone model with Support. Do not install firmware for a different Rexing model.
